Hello lovelies! I’ve been busy planning my next BIG blog post; A multi part ‘how-to’ showcasing one beautiful tablescape that pulls double duty for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m really liking how it’s coming together and am looking forward to sharing the process and projects with you BUT, the first post isn’t quite ready. I do have an excellent excuse though? My little brother is staying with us for a couple of weeks from Australia and we’re thoroughly enjoying his company. It’s been super chill and a really nice visit. So, as a consolation to not having a full post ready, I’ve created an exciting new cocktail for you to try. That’s a fair trade – I think?
This new cocktail uses one of my favorite fall simple syrups from last week’s post. You can check out the how-to’s of making simple syrup HERE. Just as a refresher, I’m re-posting my favorite fall simple syrup combos once again at the bottom of this post.
Now, on to this new beauty. I absolutely love this cocktail, which desperately needs a name (hint hint!). Pomegranates (in your local grocery stores from now until January) give it a beautifully soft pink color while a bit of egg white tops the drink with a white fluffy cloud. It really is very elegant looking; especially for a tequila based cocktail. And the flavor? Well . . . it’s delicious; softly sweet with a delicate balance of spicy ginger, floral cardamom and a bit of effervescence.
Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments section below. Don’t forget to include your suggestion for a name – it’s quite a mouthful to say ‘the pomegranate-ginger-cardamom-orange-tequila cocktail’.
Sharing is caring!
